Heaven and Hell

A screech was heard
The car skidded and swerved
A bang followed next
The point of a sharp curve

I finally awoke
Expecting bright lights
Only to find nothing
But silent dark night

Looking before me
I noticed two things
Two different staircases
Two different kings

One had a halo
Jesus was his name
Flipping a thick book
Searching for my name

The other had two horns
The devil was what he was called
With trident in hand
For me, he waited to maul

A bright light flashed
A disappointed shout
The devil slinked back
And the disappearance of my gout

I jumped for joy
I sprinted straight up
Wings sprouted on my back
I flew around like an excited pup

Thinking back
I am glad
Glad about my decision
The right choice I had

I gotta say, that is a good poem. Of course, it did'nt sync very well. The syllables did'nt line up. If it did, you could win a contest. In fact, show it to a band and make a song out of it.
