Fallen
In a world of no hope,
I lay stranded within myself,
lost in a downward spiraling slope.
The walls close in on me with speed,
never caring how it pains me so
as I shake and plead.
My life ends in a snap,
no more than a second
before I feel my bones crack.
Before me lies a bright tunnel,
but suddenly it blinks out
sending me down a dark funnel.
