Poetry - Do you like reading or writing?

Personally, I can't write songs because they always end up being poems, but I have to admit, I tend not to like reading poetry, and analysing them. I enjoy putting pen to paper (being it's simply more personal than typing) and writing what I will, although I don't often do it.

What about the rest of you? Do you only write, or do you like reading?

well for me i like to writing because when i write it comes out sounding so good....and when i read its so slow so i usually skim through it getting only the infomation that i need.....so i would perfer writing...

I prefer to write much more comfortable to do. BTW I am writing a story right now anybody got a suggestion for a character name? It will be something like LOTR style so a name like those.

As for Reading or Writing... I don't really know which one I prefer more. Writing isn't difficult... it's an expression of your emotions, sort of your thoughts realized on paper.... a way to vent..

Reading can be motivating, calming, and relaxing. It pulls at one's emotions and leads the reader somewhere new and exotic... Very enlightening at times. Reading poetry to me is also genuinely fun.

Between the two, I guess I prefer reading another's poetry more.

i like writing and reading...aldowght i think that its much more easyer to read than write...i dont write poems very much because its hard, but i write novels.

I like writing poems more when they come from my heart and there is no effort in the flow of words...
