sweet wireless mouse
i rarely advertise for others, but this is an exception. everybody has a mouse and keyboard, but i doubt anyone has one like mine....
http://www.gyration.com/
the company is relatively young and the mouse has had a few bugs now and again. nevertheless, the customer service is FANTASTIC and they're making improvements all the time. if anyone wants, i could provide a detailed description of my experiences over the last 2 yrs.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
ive got a wireless mouse and keyboard, although i dont use the keyboard because i prefer my other one. but i would HATE to use one in the air. you would get arm cramps all the time. it would be INCREDIBLY uncomfortable too.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
i usually don't use the 'in air' feature. however, it isn't as uncomfortable as you might imagine. actually, i rest my arm on the chair and my wrist does all the work. my arm doesn't get tired, i just get tired of holding the mouse. it's nice because it works like a remote control. i'll pick it up for short tasks, like changing the music, when i'm just 'stopping by' my computer for a moment.
i use the keyboard all the time. i have the compact, laptop style keyboard. i recline in my chair with it on my lap. its incredibly comfortable. perhaps too much so. i find myself sitting here all day long sometimes.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
I really hate wireless mouses because of the batteries, they get too heavy from them, and in the air sux because the mouse is that heavy from the batteries!!!
I prefer a wire mouse and keyboard!

Re: sweet wireless mouse
ive never had a problem with the weight of my mouse, but when they run out during a sniper game of halo in the middle of their base could be bad.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
yeah, I had a wireless mouse until Dad replaced it with a normal mouse again because he was gonna use it somewhere else. But a mouse you don't have to have on the desk to use? Kewl, but not entirely necessary.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
i reckon the bluetooth series of computer hardware is much better. you can have a blue tooth monitor, mouse and keyboard. so you can use the computer in your bedroom, while the computer unit is 15 metres away.

Re: sweet wireless mouse
i got a logitech wireless mouse and keybored for $30 and it works perfect. No delay on anything or like screw ups, ive yet to have to replace the batteries either so im sure it doesnt use up all that much. I bought this like 4 months ago and I use my PC everyday
I bought the wireless because I got a 256mb video card I bought and it has video out so ocasionally I hook up my computer to the family TV which is like 30 inches so its kince nice to use. So i relax on the couch and play everquest on the tv lol. Its quite nice
