I need comments on my Vash drawings

I'll color it later with Photoshop, but that's on my mom's computer... And she's VERY protective of her computer. So, maybe I'll wait till I go by Photoshop for my Laptop ;D

Since the door to criticism is open...

1)What's up with Vash's mouth? He looks slightly retarded (and I don't want to hear the argument over this), at least based on the pictures that I have.

2)Why is only one ear drawn in? In my opinion, it looks awkward; I think drawing in both ears might look better. Of course, it could have been intentional, with some deeper meaning behind it...

3)The hair seems to extend too far over his ear (the side with the earring). I am thinking that maybe half the distance over the curve of the ear should fix it. The other side needs to be reach the same distance.

4)Lastly, Vash's hairline is incredibly uneven. It looks as though his has a wig that is leaning towards one side. In the picture I have, it looks like he has a widow's peak

Overall though, highly impressive and its a great rendition of the $$60,000,000,000 Man.

thats really good but i was wondering if you should add some detail to the rite ear as well or should i say the left ear.. well either way im talking about the ear that doesnt have much detail

Thanks for the tips. But I thought that I'd tell you, I copied this from the goofy face that Vash makes at the end of Episode #13 "Vash the Stampede"
The mouth is supposed to look lopsided because he's being a goofball. I drew this a few years ago so I don't know if I might have interprited his features differently (IE: the hair and the ear) But I'm pretty sure that I copied it as it was, best that I could. I remember pausing the screen over and over again in the same spot, just so I could draw it =P Ya, I'm a weirdo.

I'll look into it and see if I can attach the pose I'm talking about. Until then, thanks for the input! ^.^

Thanks for putting up the reference shot, it helps alot. So, I guess forget what I said earlier- I'll send Nightow hate-mail criticizing his image of Vash.

The only difference I see is the hairline. Fix that and it will be a perfect copy. But it really isn't that noticable (in case you don't want to make any changes)
