Iaido - Anyone else out there that does it??

Just curious anyone do iaido?, i have done it for 2 years now it ever gets boring, samurai swords ftw

hehe yeh, you do like katas =, sorta like a combination if movements using a live blade (real sword), the first few lessons were a lil hard but once you seen all the katas and practised them it became really fun ^^

hmm im oki at it :P, been doing it for a year and a half now, havnt got bored of it so far, our sensei just told me today that we are getting a group to grade in Japan this year or next year so really looking forward to that.

i will love something like that, but we do not have such sports over here.. The next best thing will be fencing

Fencing is pretty cool i wanna try that one day ^^

I took ninjitsu, but the swords are stiff, straight, and you focus more on effective use verses flowing movments and slashes like you would do moving from stance to stance with a katana or similar sword.
