Pool or Billiards do you play?

Well this is the sport of choice for university students in my country on a friday or weekend. Its good clean fun and you can really lose track of time while playing. Of course there is also the fact that a person who is good at maths and vectors? would be god at this game.

Unfortunately most of the pool halls here also double as bars and one too many fights take place and most students then stay away for a few months or so.

So how many of you enjoy playing pool? Do you have your own cue or chalk?

lol yeah u mayb right he could calculate how much power he needed to add and direction but ofcourse its like imposible to say well here it goes ill create a punch of 600 newton make it hit the bounds 10 times and kick ass:P its just not realy posible, to be realy good at something u got to create a feeling not calculations

i like playing pool do it atleaast a couple of times everyweek in school

we have 2 pool tables in my doorm... i just learned how to play this year so i really suck! but it's tons of fun! especially using the chicken feet stick (this is just what i call it cuz i don't know the real name)

i love playing pool. i kick ass at it. my dad taught me how to play 2 years ago and so far ive beaten all my uncles and a few guys ive played at a few billiard places.

hmm dunno if u ever seen this but like a year ago i saw this awesome thing at eurosport those pool/billiard pros were playing sort of comedie/trick. all kind of tricks so funny i cant realy explain it it was just WOW how the heck did he made that shot.

When I was in college in Texas, we went to the pool hall every night til at least 1am. Some of my friends only wne for the drinks, though. I went for the games.

I just had a pool game with my friend today, and did not perform up to standard, was a little "off form"... I play both pool and billards, but play pool more often than billards, since billards are harder and more expensive!
