yup, i agree, liverpool likes to buy ok players.. they dont go for good or great players and it is very much a one man team(gerrard). Thus i dont think they will go far

i bet u havent see mark gonzales and aurelio on la liga cos spainish top club wanted to sign them and who say liverpool is a 1 man team xabi alonso is top class as u can see in the world cup, carra is rated as one of the best in prem. all i can say its a fight between liv and chel. cos man u r why lacking in player and arsenal is the 1 man team.

I don't think Liverpool is a one man team. Sure Gerrard has a big impact on the team. But they've got a great squad even without him. Xabi Alonso can take Gerrard's place in case he's unavailable for one reason or another.

im putting money on them to come third, but as a fan id love to see chlesea to fall flat on their faces and have liverpool pull thru into number 1.

Chelsea will win the league, and last season Liverpool were a one-man team, they played like 50% better in games that Gerrard played in, however this season i think they'll do better as they have made a few good signings, and as somebody already said, Man u are gettin poorer as the seasons go on lol. Chelsea win, Liverpool 2nd and hopefully Everton 3rd or 4th
