Snowboarding / Skiing

So who has tried either of these before? Would you ever give it a shot if you havn't? I promise it's hella fun. I'm a riding junkie.. I ride like a mofo all winter long and want to get noticed to go pro one day..

I've been both ^^ I went skiing at a place not to far from here a few years ago I liked it and I was one of the only ones in my family to go on the bigger slopes XD I like snowboarding alot more though! I don't have a board of my own, but I did when I was younger I used to go all the time out by these slopes in town near the railroad tracks w00t!

i love snowboarding!!! but i still can't turn very well... ohh well at least i can stop. is it true that it's really hard to get up on skis if u fall?

The trick to turning is it's all in your hips and ankles. Keep your body straight, even if you feel like you are gonna go down the hill too fast, because that's when you have control. You tip the board with your toes forward and look where you want to go and you're board will start to make that first part of the S shape.. then when you want to go the other way, start digging in with your heels.. I know it's frustrating at first but once you "feel" it, it's like riding a bike..

And as for skiis.. I hate skiing. *LOL* I just don't like my feet separated.. but yeah they are hard to coordinate if you lose your groove. I can skii ok but nothing fancy.

I like to skii its easy lol, never tried snowboarding but its supposed to be much harder

Snowboarding is really fun
But I haven't gone snowboarding for... ages. I Sometimes also go cross country skiing.

Uh, I don ´t like skiing that much..although I am quite good at it.

Just wait until you TRY it.. its way easier than skiing.
