Default What do you think of school? Overall...

Hi there!
I was wondering what people think of one of the most important institutions in life, school. By that, i dont mean to ask whether you like it or not, but how good or bad it is. The teachers, length of classes, student arrangement.
For example, i lived most of my life in russia, but now i am in canada (and in japan in future ). And i think that canadian schools suck. I like them, but just because its quite easy. here is why i think canadian high school are no good(based on the high school i am in, i think its in top 10 of all public schools in canada):

1. There are only four to five different classes in one semester.
2. The schedule is almost the same everyday (english and social is a year course so one day u have social, other - english).
3. What we learned in math and science in russia in grade 7-8, they(canadians) learn in grade 10.
4. History, geography and economics are merged in one subject - social.
5. I dont wanna sound like a nerd or a freak, but a little more discipline wouldnt hurt
6. Its super easy in elementary and in junior high, but gets difficult in grades 11, 12.
7. There are 12 grades instead of russian 10 !!!
8. Four one and a half classes instead of seven 45 minutes one.

I dont think thats it, but this should be enough . I dont mean canadian schools have nothing good about them, on the contrary, there are quite a bit of good sides.

What country do u live in, and what do u think about that county's schools?
