Real school problems and slagging them off here!

ok my school is boys only. They have some wierd rules like you have to wear real shoes not trainers. Have to wear ties at all times no matter how hot. If you ont obey these 2 rules you are not allowed access to the canteen.

Now fair enough. What most people do is wear trainers and put shoes in there bag 4 when they wanna go in or put ties in pockets. I am one of them. But this one takes the piss.

Our headmaster maybe making a rule on length of hair. Now i am a lill mosh head myself and about 1/3 of our school is. He didnt introduce this at beginning of year he waits until we settle down into school again. The thing is the rule will be (if passed) you cant have hair longer than a no 3. that is about 2.5cm in wales. My hair length is, wait a sec *pluck* 10cm long. I like my hair and b4 someone says why dont you just try short; i already have and didnt suit me n i didnt like it much. Now i have my hair that looks fairly gd if i say so myself and emo girls love it ;p.

If this rule passes i will have to cut it and even the people with short hair are on our side. They think it would b wrong if there was a minimum length of hair allowed so why should there be a maximum.

I am in year 11 so we are top of school. We have the best chance at stopping it but how? we thought revolotion but i doubt many people would stick it out.

well i dont have problems except for my algebra class. its algebra 2. i failed the last quiz and i currently have a 71% C. my definition of failing is a C to let you know. and im really pissed. all my other classes are fine though. im swamped with homework, golf practices, SAT prep, and clarinet lessons. plus i have to keep in touch with all of my friends.

for me, it's not the problems with the school itself (my school's pretty much very relaxed on school rules and so on) but the teacher

one teacher in particular
crap so much about my grades, said I slack too much and so on, and even during meet the parent section, she even brought this up to my parents

said I spend too mcuh time on the com, yah, that's true but so what, so long I'm able to keep my grades above average, it's fine with me

I don't need other people making expectations for me and making me meet it, this is just so damn screwed up such as that that teacher for no reason wanted me to get better results while there are so many people in the class with worse results than me, this is seriously pissing me off..I decide for myself what I want

haha yeah we have rules that suck too... we cant walk across the oval during class periods to get to, for example, chemistry...but we can play on it during recess and lunch....WTF? how does that work?

i guess my school so cool than i can wear w/e i want and however i want it. and we also have girls here and even mixed classes. and like well just everything i thought a normal school would have..

wow! ur school is strict! nobody followst the dress code at my school, not even the teachers... anyways have u thought about starting a petition or something? maybe talk to the headmaster... if everybody looks completely alike with only 3 cm of hair it must look like a miliary school!

Where I go to school we don't have to wear uniform anymore. Before we had to wear uniform we hated it.(its black and we can't take it off in summer also are pance is black also @.@)The teacher claimed that just follow the rule. All of sudden there was a meeting that teacher's have to wear uniform then they had a strike....I know kinda retarted, But we don't got uniform anymore and had 2 weeks of vacation for no reason.

so there's not much promblem in my school as well incept, We have dorms and we can't have girls in are dorms after 6:30 PM. But most school's have that.

Well school rules are created so that you learn to conform so when you start your career you can easily adapt to the company rules.

So all I can say is if you plan to work for yourself later or in the famiy business then you can defy the rules, it will just cost you a recommendation or 2. If you plan to enter the corporate world then you should conform cause by next year when you start working or after university you will thank the school for sure
