I agree to a certain extent.Yes,the Starlights were actually female,but thier cross-dressing had a major purpose.They weren't doing it to come across as gay or to be mistaken as men.
Also,Haruka is gay,so the comparison stops there,as no Starlights are actually lesbian.Seiya,however,is bisexual,as she did have a relationship with Usagi,whom she loved very much,but realized she could not have a future with.You cannot convince me that Seiya never loved Usagi,as she actually did.....you saying that makes me think you actually believed that Uranus & Neptune were cousins.
