Fantasy Boarding School

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, for I am a newbie here, but I assume that this is the place for RPs? If so, good.

I have done plenty of forum RPs before, and few have turned out as good as I had hoped- and trust me, my expectations are low. So, I devised a couple of rules (Yes, sorry in advanced) that I believe help to make the RP better. There aren't many, I promise.

- Proper sentence structure, please.. By this, I mean no chat speak (unless sensoring), no ** for actions, proper grammar... Minor things that most of us are/have been taught in school. I don't expect you to write perfectly, but decently enough to be understood.

- No flaming, no fights, no graphic-ness/profanity, etc.. (unless they occur character-wise in the RP) there's no reason for them, is there? I don't think so.

- PLEASE no one liners. By this I mean
Bob walked up and said "hi."
You don't know how difficult it is to come up with a decent response post to follow it. I bet all those "Literate" RPers know what I'm talking about XDD

Those are my only rules. Really. Seriously. I mean it! x3

Now, as I mentioned in the title, this is a Fantasy Boarding School. Highschool aged kids, please. Now, I am going to allow any canon Anime characters from fantasy genres (Such as InuYasha, Rozen Maiden, even Sailor Moon XDD) to be played, as well as original characters that you made up! This way everyone has fun, right? Right.

Anything can happen! Please don't forget, there is to be a dress code at any boarding school. Girls are not to wear short skirts and tube tops, and guys cannot wear things that fall off past their knees. Get what I'm saying? ;D

Iris Boarding School. Known for the intelligent, wealthy, and socially acceptable students. Almost all get into world renown colleges, and continue on to obtain professional degrees and live life in the upper part of society.

Well, most were intelligent. Most were wealthy. Most were "socially acceptable". Over the years, Iris has loosened its iron grip on the acceptance of students, and has allowed all walks of life into its massive halls.

However, they never said that this was for "normal" students. When Iris claims that they take all walks of life, they mean it. Students with... Unusual abilities are the makeup of their elite school, and any range of abilities are welcomed with open arms.

Kinami Ooshiro (here) was from Japan, a foreign exchange student. She was a psychic, capable of a vast array of abilities, including levitation and mild telekinetics. She had long pale lavender hair and matching eyes, and always was in boundaries of the school dress code. Modest, shy, and quiet, she preferred to be in the background, as part of the crowd.
Today, she was walking in one of the many gardens that framed the school's antique architecture, reading as she walked. An odd habit, yes, but she was always able to pull it off well.

Meanwhile, the "infamous" Aaron McAlister (here) , straight from the heart of England, was last seen sneaking into the cafeteria, a rather mischevious grin about him. He was an anthro- part human, part cat of some species- and was known around the school for always bending the rules and causing general chaos, even though he won't admit it himself. He dyes his hair frequently, though he seems to like electric blue, and heterochromatic eyes change on occassion. He hardly skates by in school dress code, but he doesn't seem to mind.
Amiable, gregarious, and loud, he doesn't mind making new friends all the time.
