I think 6, 9, and 10 were my favs (I kind of dropped 7 after all of the hype), though I'm waiting to see how 3 turns out.

i think allt the finalfantasy game after 7 aren't just that good for me seven was probably the best

7 was a good game
8 seemed too convinient to me so I realy didn't like it that much
never realy beat 9 because my file kept getting corrupt and failing
10 I'll admit was fun with the being able to switch characters in battle and fighting as the aeons and not just seeing an animation

oh and Tactics easily because of how fun it was to fight in a realy strategic battle

can't say for the other games before that, I've ment to play them but never realy got around to it

i've only played 10 and 10-2, and tactics.

i love them all, but tactics gets boring after doign the same things over and over.

10 was definately my favorite one tho.

FF VII has the best story but I like FF X and VIII the best. Graphics are very nice.. heh love Tidus and Squall :x , Yuna and Rinoa too :x
