Hard Riddle

K guys this is more of a 'can u help me with this riddle' rather than 'ha work out this hard riddle i have the answer' so here we go:

3 men walk into a hotel and its £10 per person to sleep in this one room so they are charged £30 altogether. When they have gone to the room, the hotel manager realises there would have been a discount for one of the men of £5. So the manager gives the porter £5 and says refund the men this amount. Just before the porter knocks on the men's door he wonders how he'll split £5 between 3 men, so he decides to keep £2 and give the men £1 each. If the men have only actually been refunded £3 they have only spent £27 altogether plus £2 the porter kept for himself.....now that adds upto £29....where'd the spare £1 go to make £30?

this riddle is open to discussion i know if most answers are wrong which means ill probably know if someone gets the right answer....but i dont know the answer myself lol k so lets try it people.

Ah i remember now!!

£30-£2=£28
£28-£3=£25
£25-£25=£0

what happens is you add £2 onto the £25 for the porter and then you add the porters money again instead of the 3 men.

yeah i think cam_guy is right. it's all about the way u add the numbers. so in the end it adds all up to 30
