You will never figure this one out
Three guys stay at a hotel, and they pay 30$ or 10$ each. Later the managaer realizes they overpaid by 5$ and sends the bellhop with the 5$ to give them their money. The bell hop decides to keep 2$ for himself and gives 1$ back to each guy.
That means that each guy paid 9$! Plus the 2$ that the bellhop took that equals only 29$!!!!!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER DOLLAR?!?!?!?!?

They paid 9 each. 9*3 = 27. The room costs 25 actually. The bellboy pockets 2.
27 - 2 = 25.
It started with 30 so 30-(3+2)= 25
so in one big equation:
(9*3) - 2 = 30-(3+2)
27 - 2 = 30 - 5
25 = 25
No dollar lost <.< >.>

It's a trick. The last line is changed and almost everyone gets fooled except those who already know the answer. You said each guy only paid 9$ after being refunded, so you are SUBTRACTING 1 dollar from what they orginally paid. So you SUBTRACTED 3 dollars total. Now you're at 27. Then you said the bellhop kept 2 dollars, so we are supposed to SUBTRACT 2 more. Instead you ADDED 2 dollars, fooling everyone, because now we're 1 dollar short of 30. But we're not trying to get 30 dollars, we're trying to get 25. We had 30, subtracted 3, now we must subtract 2 more from the bellhop to get 25. No dollar was lost, obviously, you simply added instead of subtracted, and pretended we were trying to get to 30 instead of 25.

actually skillz ur wrong its just a flaw in the math system, you are actually supposed to try to keep track of all the money and equal the original amount, but u cant

no, he is perfectly correct, the amount was supposed to be $25, not $30. it is a illusion kind of. but why did you post it when you dont even get it?

no hes not it is a thing with math cuz since all ur doin is adding and subtracting from 30 u should be able to get 30 the whole time, but its the way u do the math and say the numbers that is the trick not what u guys r sayin
