I recommend it just dont be expecting your normal nowadays anime as it is quite and old one but its really fun you will like it and another thing Keep your eyes off my Shampoo...

I think it is, I like it a lot because it is funny and nowadays you just can't find funny animes anymore. Or at least I didn't. But the reason I wanted to Ranma is because it is created by the same author as Inuyasha and I wanted to see if it is the same style or not.
