The weirdest name in Ramna has to be a guy named Pantyhose Taro, a guy who turns into a big monster which comes from several animals drowning in the same spring at the same time.

i also think the name pantyhose taro is weird. what kind of parents will give such a name to their child? i think ranma is still okay. at least it sounds japanese and 'normal'

Ranma stands for Wild Horse in japanese. And it's not the Weirdest name on the show Pantyhose, Shampoo, Mousse, Colounge and a few more butcherd Chinese names are at times for me much weirder

Of course there are funny names like Panthyhouse Taro but for Ranma, Akane, Nabiki and the rest they're common japanese names, they are not weird
