Summer Slumber
Statistics show Mediwar is going through a slow period.
Was it not uncommon to see 350 players online during peak hours only a few
months ago,..
now it barely reaches 200.
Three main factors are to blaim according to those active in the community :
-Mediwar is slowly losing its appeal.
-More (active) mods are needed to make some features (like rep-points) work
-And last but not least by far,.. a lot of players are on holiday.
Most worrying for mediwar is ofcourse the first issue.
Therefor players feel it should be adressed first.
One could guess it would take a significant amount of time and effort.
Since the threads and posts about changes,.. suggestions.. ideas,.. etc, are
quite scattered,.. it would take hours to get things organised to see what
people want and filter out the less realistic options...
Next is selection, writing the change and testing,.. lots and lots of work.
There might be a solution to the first part of this problem though.
If players would be willing to go over their posts and place all their good
suggestions in a post in one and the same thread,..
(to be apointed and well advertised by a mod) it would be a lot easier.
The second issue is reasonable easy to solve.
Advertise the vacant spots in the forum.
The third point is nothing to worry about.
They'll be back.
So now is the time to change Mediwar,.. during slow summer slumber..
