As Selve and his crew of spies crept through the forest towards the enemies trench a wolf howled. He looked up into the treetops for some sort of sign from above telling him that it was safe to go. An owl hooted and he looked back at his crew and gave a nod. He gave them each a different signal with his hands tellign them what to do. Once done he looked towards the enemies trench and began a slow stealthy creep through the forest. He was right upon the camp when he spotted an ememy sentry not 7 feet from him moving closer. He did not move, did not breathe, as the sentry pressed on right pass him. He got into the trench with ease and was successfull at his recon mission.

Authors Note: I like to write stories. I got into the Semi-Finals for poetry out of over 1 million people at www.poetry.com. Ended up getting one of my poems published! Hope this story was good enough!

Sevle was born as the second son of the Elven King, Theodus. Sevle was unlike other elves. Deep within he was cruel and evil. The peaceful nature of the elves sickened him. He knew he would never gain the throne because it would be his older brother that would be the successor. Sevle made many allies and converted them to his ruthless ways, he formed his own inner circle. At the death of Sevle's father, he and the inner circle murdered his elven bretheren and claimed the throne. The elven people were much to smart, they knew Sevle was responsible for his brother's death. Together, the elven people used their magic to banish Sevle into oblivion. Sevle spent many years alone, lonely. He did not, however, waste his time. All the years was time spent improving his magical powers. In time, he had the power to release himself from the abbys that he was banished into. He returned to the Elven Kingdom where he hoped to use his newfound abilities to once again claim the throne. However, the combined powers of the elven people was still too strong for Sevle. All he can do was defend himself from being banished once again. Sevle gathered up the conspiritors and once again formed a great alliance. At the news of the human king, Lomeldur, passing away, Sevle quickly headed out to defeat the humans and claim the throne. The task was not easy as orcs & dwarves were also fighting to the end. Will Sevle and his elven alliance fall from the might of the dwarves, the strength of the orcs, and the numbers of humans, or will Sevle prevail and claim the throne and become what he has always asspired to become, a true king.

Selve's age isunknown but it is guessed to greatly exceed one thousand. He is the leader of a race known to disapear in front of your very eyes without a trace. In fact, all the other races of this medieval world have never seen Selve or his spys. They infiltrate any camp undetected and commit crimes that would drive someone mad. How can you fight someone you can't see? Selve is there and gone before you can blink an eye. He make take your gold, he may simply study your army. With Selve the elf, you'll never know...

The pair treaded through the forest, silent as the clouds above them, their feet crunching no leaves, cracking no twigs. Their green cloaks were pulled tight around their shoulders, and so in tune were they here, in their forest home, that they almost seemed like an extension of the wood itself. It was as if they had simply sprouted from the ground in this very spot, and indeed the legends say that thousands of years past, the ancestors of this pair had done just that. Thus was the beginning of the first and most wonderful race. They are as agile as a squirrel, strong as a small bear, and immortal as the trees themselves. With thick, luxurious locks of hair, and large, radiant, almond shaped eyes, they were creatures of fierce beauty and strength. They were sprouted as the protectors of the wood, and everything akin to nature. They were the most agile of any race, and were almost undetectable in their forest homes, making them the most dangerous spies and assassins. Thus the elves were created. One elf in particular, Selve, was the chosen heir to the gods, it was he who would lead his immortal Fairborn people for eternity. Selve is often said to be the most beautiful creature in all the world, and among elves, that is no small compliment! But with his beauty comes power and intelligence unmatched.
