How do I buy spells?

i've just got my first pet and i would like to know how to enter a battle, do i need spells ect can someone help me

dont waste money on spells they are useless.. i used to try what they could do but they have been a waste without using spells my alter ego would have probably been level 70 by now

well most of the people who get spells dont actually know what they are doing, spells are pretty much useless if you only get 1, you have to get more than 1 of the same spell, the max is your level. so i wouldnt get them unless you are max level, then get 100 then the spell would be worth it. but to start a battle you need nothing, but to enter is 50petz$ each, ask any specific questions you may have also
