Depends on your style, you can find rock, pop, techno, hard rock, or even girl bands.

I personally really like Glay... it's somewhat mild rock I guess. They for example did the Kaikan Phrase OP "Survival". But there's no accounting for tastes so maybe you'll like em... maybe you won't ^^

Japanese rock bands i listen to are HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, UVERworld, Onmyouza(hard metal/visual kei), Remioromen, Nakanomori BAND(all-girl band), MARIA(not sure if it's rock, but they're a good all-girl band), Ikimono Gakari, Anna Tsuchiya(not a band, but she has good rock music), Missile Innovation, Tokyo Jihen, TRAX (Korean rock band, but they also sing Japanese),

I know only Metaphysical by Moi dix Mois ani if i didnt know it is japanese i would say it is some kind of folk-metal from Balkan...
