Default Yngwei Malmsteen

who here is a malmsteen fan? i personally cant seem to commit to one genre/artist/band/style i like everything, i like steve vai, jpop, jrock, system of a down, daft punk, dance, techno,etc........, i like everything as long as it's nice for me. im not caught up in what's expected, ive been hassled a lot because i dont like hendrix' works, i respect him, but its not my style. and people cant understand that.

well back to the thread, what's your fav. song and when did you start listening to his stuff?

i'll go first:

1. some of my favs are serenade, baroque and roll, and fire and ice.
2.i started listening to his work about 1 year ago.
3. i was lucky enough to come across his stuff back when i was listening to michael angelo batio's stuff, it was getting stale, and i ran into his stuff. i love his neoclassical guitar styling and im way into classical music and operah.

if youve got anything to say, say it, but please no flamers, but questions are welcome.

dont worry I was never very keen on hendrix's music either, but a few people I know really like his stuff,

I heard of the guy but I never did any searches for his stuff, Im not too big on 80's rock, though billy sheehan and paul gilbert did kinda catch my ear, but after awhile the constant speedy stuff gets old, I have a little different tastes music wise, it has to be music and not have a bunch of screaming or religion bashing in it, oddly tohugh some scream style stuff I like but it depends,

I'll go look up some of his stuff on youtube and see what I find.

*edit*

checked, I dunno, lol
