Default Humbucker or single coil?

Figure I would pop a not so expected question in,

if you play guitar, do you have a preffered pickup type for a guitar? do you prefer the crisp clean tone of the single coil pickup, or the more beefy warm tone of a humbucker?

I prefer the humbucker as of right now, but I recently got a seymour duncan pearly gates humbucker, good for blues sound and also abotu as clear a sound as you can get on a humbucker, my other guitar still has the stock pickups, so I may change my mind if I get to upgrade to some fancy singles for my other guitar.

Humbucker.
They just sound warmer.

But I´ve splitted my humbuckers on my PRS SE for the clean acoustic parts.

Till now, I´ve never found a singlecoil guitar that matches my tastes.

Maybe the John Mayer Strat will... gotta try it first, though.

I like Strat single coils. The position 2 and 4 sounds cannot be found anywhere else!
