When do you listen to music?

while you listen to music do you pay attention to the lyrics, the beat, or both? I pay attention to both which is why I don't really listen to alot of rap songs because some of their lyrics can be deragotory there are a few songs that I like but the majority I don't. I like to listen to the words and the beat the most because I like when the songs have meaning as well as a good tune

both of them, sometimes the lyrics is like the beat , like mm emin3m when he sing his lyrics much better then the beat

Oh, it's gotta be both. There are some songs where one is more important than the other, but for the most part, I try and listen to both if at all possible.

Sometimes I listen only to the beat and sometimes the lyrics, but most of the time I like songs that have good lyrics and good beat, I think that's really importatn

I put both, but a lot of the music I listen to is electronica based so usually there aren't a lot of lyrics... I get lost in the music though.

i listen to both, it would b really hard to listen to one thing and not the other especially if one of those things is crap

Usually both, but sometimes, if I'm doing other things while listening to music I don't pay much attention to the lyrics.

I listen to the delivery. Some songs need clever lyrics to eleviate a song, others just flow good. 60-70% of a a good song consists of the music, onpoint lyrics, hooks.

So all in all it really depends.

I listen to mostly the beat cuz thats how i determine if i like a song. But a song can have a bad beat and i will listen to it if it has some sick lyrics like jadakiss though he usually has tight beats.
