i forgot where i heard this from but there going to make a live action movie for neon genesis evangelion, but it is coming out in 2010.

Last I heard (like yesterday lol) they do not have a set date yet. The people who own the rights to Eva are having trouble giving it up, and people are petitioning to get the rights to be able to make the movie.

Production art has been out for about a year now (it looks awesome!) but they do not have the technology complete to be able to do what they want with the movie, and they are half way there with the budget needed.

I would not be surprised if the movie does not come out until 2010, but one never knows.

2010 is release in usa, then in german 2011, okey but that is a long long time.

i would imagine it would be in germany sooner then usa... it is based of an anime, and us in the usa are usually the last of the anime hand down

that's pretty awesome, but i hope it doesn't get into all that annoying crap with shinji and his damn complaining "meh meh meh who am i, why am i fighting? meh meh meh..." i almost couldn't watch the last few episodes because of that crap..

I get my info from my roommate, who is a major Eva fan. He has the offical website for the movie and is part of a community who is keeping up with it. Google 'neon genesis live action movie' and it is not hard to find info.
