Hellow people. I believe I have stated one of my faves as Battlefield Earth, thought alot might disagree..., but I would like to broaden my mind in this genre, so let's hear it from you...

What's your favourite Sci Fi movie?

My favorite scifi movie would have to be Startrek "first contact' When I saw it again recently it didn't feel that great anymore, but when I watched it the first time I was impressed and thought it was really exciting.

My favourite sci-fi movie is Star wars & still have to see the old star wars movies.

I know its cliche, but its Star Wars.

Then again, I saw it when it first came out in the theatres (yes, I'm that old).
And without the internet, and without any serious competition for years, it effected my youth greatly.

But the last few movies were all flash and bang, and not enough Empire Strikes Back type character developement and plot.

So I have to think of which movie lately has impressed me. And its a bit hard to be honest. If this moved to fantasy I would have to say it was LOTR. So well done, tried to take so much into account and made it work...etc...etc.

So perhaps I should say the Sci-Fi movie I will be most impressed with is: Halo.

I could not believe it but Peter Jackson will be helming it when it comes out in a few years. Very nice.

((oh, and The Last StarFighter is still enjoyable to watch. And if we go Anime I found Cowboy BeBop the movie to be pretty good)

My favourites are starship troopers & independence day.both have nice action & storyline.
