[Movie] The Chronicles of Narnia

I've watch The Chronicles of Narnia ( http://www.narnia.com ) about a month ago in Malaysia. Not bad. didnt know about this story before watching the movie. To me the story seems weird. A magical world...before a wardrobe.

I have watched this movie and I think it's fantastic! The effects are WOW. I got really a shock when the wolves jumped out! I practically jumped in the theatre seat. Lol, okay anyway uhm I haven't read the book yet too. But if you think a world in a wardrobe is weird, that's the writer CS Lewis idea. Hahah okay uh. I think they filmed it til the movie looks really realistic. The ice, frozen waterfall etc,.? Really nice. But I think one part rather lame was how Aslum (spelling check, I'm referring to the lion) just bite the Witch and she vanished? I don't know. Quite lame for me.

i read about half of the book it isnt bad

I read the book ages ago, but the movie kept pretty true to it. The wardrobe, though, isn't that linked to the rings in the first book or something (the Magicians nephew) 'cos that had the proffessor as a kid in it.

I thought the movie was ok, except I wanted to strange the kid who played Peter all the way through.

Needs no introduction to the movie. Have heard alot of good reviews about it. However, am a bit apprehensive to blow dough on a movie ticket on a kiddy kid of show. Heard some friends say that it is nice, but just kiddish. Thought the theme is closer to LOTR. But wouldn't know until I see it i guess.
