I thought I'd bring up a movie from the "vault" since I watched it last night on Digi Cable. I never actually set time to watch it before, but was always told that I'd love it. It's about a crazy girl who is cared for by her loving but lifeless mechanic brother, and their lives become more enriched when Sam (Johnny Depp) shows up in their lives. And let me just say that over the last month I have been swimming in Johnny Depp movies, and it wasn't even intentionally.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The Corps Bride
The Secret Window
The Pirates
Finding Neverland
Benny & Joon...

And my god I cannot help myself, I just LOVE him. *faints* He's so wonderful and plays crazies so well. *LOL*

Anyway I highly recommend you make it a Benny & Joon night if not a Johnny Depp night.. *meow*

benny and joon was from johnny depp's early days as an actor he looks so young and like a late teens era its cool to see him go thru movies n not seem old

I think he only improves with age.............. and my favorite is when he's Captain Jack Sparrow.. *fans herself* Love the pirate look.

OK... while we've strayed off topic here...LOL... I think in Benny and Joon Johnny Depp's comedy was a mostly physical and a really good performance too, In the Pirates series the comedy is based around his wit more than his actions...

... and all that eye make-up really doesn't do it for me... LOL
