I've only seen the first few episodes. It's about a surgeon who is extremely skilled. He's doing extremely well and is engaged to the daughter of the head of the hospital. then he realizes that that he's put on cases that are high profile or rich ones rather than the people that need him most so one night he's called into do surgery on this boy who has been shot. His family has been masacred with only his sister living but in total shock. At the last minute he's called off the case because the mayor or someone comes in. A really bad surgeon is assigned to the kid but he does it anyway and things go to hell for him.
As much as I've seen it looks very well done and the plot keeps you on edge. You totally forget its even anime.
Actually i'm downloading the torrent right at this moment. 74 episodes is a lot more then i'd usually watch but after checking a number of reviews theres a lot of praise for this series.
too bad theres no license for it though.

ok, i´ve heard many times this anime is good... i dunno, but what i read doesnt sound interesting at all, there must be something more that is just to be said, maybe we dont know the whole plot
