well, i had a really good covert action rank, and when i went to recon info from people like 10 ranks lower thenme, it worked..but then if i went to go gold recon them, i would fail, and lose all of my spies that i sent..is this a bug? or am i just doing something wrong..
please help

No its not a bug....when you recon gold other things come into factor i am pretty sure

There's a certain percentage of more CA which you have to have in order to succeed. I shall not recommend any percentage here as there is still the random factor..

Before You Recon make sure that ur CA is 1.8x - 2.0x more than the person you want to recon. If its less then u are goin to lose some spies, maybe even all of them. ...otherwise u probably reconned the same time the other person highered their CA and i guess thats just bad luck.....hope this helps!!

its the other way round... 2.0x - 1.8x higher. I usually keep it around 50% higher to make doubly sure

ohh, ok thanks for the info

so is it smart to send all of my spies ifthey're 50% or more lower then me? or should i just send a certain amount?

you should send all your spies then

because if you only send 50% of your spies, your CA which you gold recon with is half of your CA with all your spies.

ok..one last question, does spy lvl have anything to do with recon fails/successes? isit bad to recon somebody with a spy lvl like 1 or 2 higher then me?

For me, I think spy lvl doesn't affects much, but higher spy lvl you have will reduce the random factor. And always send all spies, as I always do, except for a typo lol..
