Bank Reconning

Id like to be able to recon bank accounts. Not to take the gold (as nice as that might be) but just to know their amount in order to decide someones potential. It could work as a 1 in 4 chance of successfully seeing their bank account amoount at a cost of 1 turn per try. Possibly with a modifier like this:


l /your bank axccount amount \ l
l \ victims bank acount amount/ l <1 multiplied by .25

Let all the races have this ability equally, and all unsuccessful attempts show in the victims intelligence log.

i'd give this a 50/50 chance up happening, accept that i feel that i have somewhere read neon saying there is a reason why you can't see this. it is a good idea, however, it is also nice to know that people don't know. strategy, you know?

Mmmmm... knowing what somebody has in their bank should not be allowed for two reasons.

1) You're putting it in a BANK. You're PAYING them to keep it safe for you. Knowledge is power, so the bank should be keeping it safe from ALL things, including the ability to know what is in it.

2) It adds an element of the unknown, a diversity of strategy. You think that you're doing better than somebody, but you might not be.

I dont support this idea, cause it really doesnt matters how much bank the guy has, cause it has complete no use for anything, and bank should be something secretive... Like what FallswithBlade says...

I agree, this can also help give away parts of some people's strategys.

Ahahahahahaha WOW, that kinda post is illegal, eveilsor... you pretty much said "I agree that it shouldn't be implimented." We don't really care if you "agree," we care if you actually have a brain with the capability of contributing to intelligent discussion.

Summation:
Bank reconning = bad because...
-Defeats one of the points of depositing gold into the bank
-Kills some strategy
-Kills the excitement of never knowing exactly how well you are doing until the last seconds of the game.

I dont agree, and I know sky wont accept it. He would probally accept peoples rankings for actions before this... but I dont liek the idea, becuase like if they can see my bank or i can see someone elses, they might see somethign im trying to do or somethign, gives away strats
