Okay I think it is time for a change, it may not happen anytime soon but I am still willing to put in my two since in and am wanting all players to way in on it also. This is some ideal I have for a game and don't really apply to Mediwar as it is. I am working on a game as of now and am brainstorming for it. Some of my thought would look nice for Mediwar as well and I am sharing them with all of you to get your opinion. So be honest, let me know if you think.

New Races and new stats
I am thinking two new races would be nice, not sure what they could be as of yet but adding two more could add some interesting twists to the game. The two races would come with two new stats as well so the are not left out, for the new stats I was thinking Sentry and Diplomacy. Sentry of cores would be an anti-Covert stat. It would have its own upgrades and soldier type. Diplomacy would be a new stat that would be used to still soldiers from other players. Every race could use it for that and the race that excels in it can use it to still gold, if a player looses in an Diplomatic Gold Raid there stats would be given to the person they tried to raid( a downside to trying it).

Mercenaries
A new twist to them would be give them a cheaper cost but have them reduce a players TBG. Say one mercenary reduces a players TBG by 25 gold, some more things can be done to this as well but I will not get into it.

Voting
The game has sights were we can vote for it but not many do. I think it would be nice to give people an reason to vote for the game. First put it were people can see it more and have it if we vote we get a soldier(one that counts towards the turn limit) for every sight we vote on. Put the game on more sights so we can get more players to the game.

Clans/Alliances
Not sure what to do as a lot of players don't want Mediwar to infested with them but they can do some good, if controlled in game.

In game Recruiting system
Have some sort of in game recruiting system.

I agree with the voting 100%. I tried out Prison Struggle (another MMORPG similar to MediWar) and it has voting and it's a really good way to suck more players into playing. Tons of people are finding out about MediWar, thus the 180 pages in battlefield, but 85% of them choose not to play and become inactive .

I'm sorry man, but It all looks a bit complicated.
Sentry is allright ( Kingsofchaos similar )
but stealing soldiers, is really annoying I think.
Getting rewards by voting is a really good idea.
A lot of small mmorpgs use this, and it helps.

Thumbs up for the idea. I think it's a good idea with the new race, will inspire more strategy and more competition. However the voting part might lead to a certain amount of cheating and might cause lots of problems. Perhaps a limit or something can be impose or perhaps something could be work out.

Overall fine idea, it's time for a real change.

Voting would have a limit one time per day, you would click the links from mediwar.com and than it would register that you done it already and cant do it again until the next day. The only thing is there would be no way of knowing if a player voted on the sight that they were sent to. Like links on yarold.

Stealing soldiers would focus on Diplomacy, you would need to train diplomats and it would have its own upgrades. To balance out the stat some, a diplomat could lower a players TBG and it would cost gold as well as turns. If you perform a Diplomatic Raid(steal soldiers) and fail all diplomats sent would die. All races would be able to perform a Diplomatic Raid, only (new race ideal) could do a Diplomatic Gold Raid(steal gold) and if an attempt fails you get access to there stats at the time of the raid.

about the voting:
as hype already said it can be abused.. so i suggest that not everyone can vote, but for example the top10 players in capital(at the and of the month) and some random people. when they login they get a notice that they can vote. this way you know the opinion of the more experienced players and of the other players.

about new races:
i think it would add something new to the game. the playing strategies need to be changed by everyone, so the ones who are very skilled have an advantage. as the race bonusses i suggest for example 10% income bonus+10% SA bonus, etc. i dont think if its a good idea to add new stats.. it will start to look a bit like kingsofchaos or other games..

The voting could be controlled easily, once you voted you could not vote for another 24 hours just like the recruit links and if there are only 5 sight to vote for that is only an extra 5 soldiers a day that would count towards your turn limit. If you got all your clicks from somewhere else at the same time you were voting you could not get any soldiers from it. The only part not controlled is players actually voting.

The new races and stats are just thoughts i got for the game i am working on.
