I have noticed that there is not an "Official" chat room for Mediwar links like many other MMORPG's have. I believe if we would have an official chat room that could be accessed by a java link on the website, or a IRC client such as mIRC that it would pull the MediWar community together, and it would also allow us to trade links a whole lot more sufficiently.

I would like to hear what others think about this suggestion.

If we do decide to have an official chatroom hosted on an IRC Network, I would like to suggest a network that a friend(who dont play mediwar) and I have been running for a little while. We both have had experience in running a IRC network for over a few years, and have just recently decided to get another one going. So if you all seem interested in this I would appreciate if one of the Admins or Mods would get in touch with me so that we can talk. If you all wanna have an official chatroom.

Yeah I think it is a good idea although trading links in a chat room isn't that cool. Somebody could just come on and start typing there link and then someone else could do it and so on..

A chat with a PM system that can share links to everyone in the chat room and click theres and write the report and vice versa. This would be an awesome idea, similiar to the ClickTracker used in mIRC for KoC. It has a nice system to it.

You may trade links there, but try not to be an ass about it, we do have a recruiter which would let you get men alot faster then just trading links

hey skylight I can run an IRC chat for mediwar. Liek I can run one for mediwar links or an official mediwar chat. I can make u a leader of the chat room that way when u do have the time u can run it. But I can run it for the most part if u want. I know how and i used too run one for a clan

I can have u a room up in .2 seconds on a server that I run. Its got good uptimes, so the network is stable, if u could just get a java client on the site linked to my server i could run/ help run the chatroom. I have been on IRC for 7 years, Scripted for mIRC for 6 1/2yrs and i've ran a network for total of about a year and a half, so i have lots of experience with anything. I also use to be an op in some of DALnet's help channels. And for those who know DALnet its like #7 largest IRC server in the world ? so i have the knowledge and experience to run it if you all dont have the time. Other than i the ops that i will have Will have nothing to do with the game. So any user that is kicked/banned temporary from the channel cant say, well its just because their in a rival alliance or what not. They will just be there to control flooding/spamming and so forth. So if u all want me to start one just give me a message. Just need a java applet on the site linked to it and i believe it would grow tremendously.

I think this is a good idea, and Doglem sounds like he has plenty of experience.

skylight you should pay some special attention to this. I was one of the first players to start playing Kings of Chaos, and I was around at the very beginning to watch the alliances form and all that, and it ALL happened on IRC. IRC is a huge part of what made Kings of Chaos big, and an effectively run channel could make this game much bigger than it is.

are you trying to sit here and say that I dont know all this? Im not saying u are, im just asking. If so I do just so u know. I know how to control them all. But ya sry if my way of asking sounded mean/rude I was just wondering lol
