Default Is there an absolute need for officers and commanders?

Well? Is there? For me I sometimes find those spam ads that I get in my pm inbox (with all the other threats and assorted poison letters abt how evil I am) quite annoying actually. Why is it that there are always ppl trying to rush for the top when in the first two months that I've played the game, I've managed to get in the top twenty within a week of the start of the new round.

I mean yeah you get more soldiers but my upgrades also can do that. In fact can you actually remember to hit the button for your assorted officers and commander every 24 hours?

Well, you really don't need officers, or to have a commander in order to do well in this game. I have a select group of people that I have played this game with for a long time. I also tend to pick up random officers for the sole fact that I'm a pretty experienced player in this game, and that I do well towards the end (along with a few others that get those officers too). I really only talk to a few of my officers, have talked to some of them for over 2 years now.

So, outside of the game, I guess you'll meet some pretty cool people if you shift commanders around a bit, and you'll learn who's cool and who to stay away from. I guess it's all preferences

Nope, they're completely unnecessary - I've been an officer and commanded many, but it doesn't truly make much difference.

HAH! if they waste turns and troops massing every person that did not join then, I laugh . Dont worry, if they are stupid enough to do that, they are not much of a threat.

There is not a need, but usually we have commander and officers we treat them as friends.. We help each others out and we do great things together, we talk about MediWar and all kinds of things. However, there's not really a need to win MediWar, it's different from KoC and you don't need huge chain to win the game, just need good strategy and time on your computer..

as faf said, refer to other threads for answers, or ppls' opinions...and as hype said, commanders and officers to me are more like good friends...i had a number of officers long time ago, 3 or 4 of them were my real life friends...but they stopped playing, ...and others i dont remember who...but again as nype said....

and to those messages, read them, laugh about it, and discard them, lol...
