Why does the cost for recon have to go up as your covert lvl goes up? If anything, I think it should be the other way around: the higher lvl you are, the LESS it should cost you, because you get more skilled at it each lvl...

How come you have it this way? And if it's a "just for the hell of it" thing, is there any chance on you changing this?

well, i know this question isn't directed at me, but here's my opinion on the question:

i don't think it's currently a problem. i can easily afford the reconning price. and as your ability improves it ups the stakes. if it were more expensive lower down then small and new players wouldn't really be able to make use of it as you improve so does the amount of gold coming in, so you shouldn't have a problem affording it.

as your spy level increase your spies want more pay since they will probably be looting a higher level player which yield more gold.

recons don't cost gold. only attack turns.

put it this way, when you get a car, you get insurance. the more the car costs, the more the insurance is. same thing really.

but if you steal a car, then you get it for free, and you don't have to pay for insurance either. since elves are all about stealing, then it should all be free
