i've only watched the first few episodes and it seems like a cool show so far, but i'd like to know from a fan's perspective what the show's about. I know I can look on like animeinfo or something, but I want to hear some people's opinions about it, not the same review copy and pasted on a million different websites.

it's a cool show, it get's pretty exciting from mid-way onwards. The main bulk of the show is how they defeat the white pple (Forgot what they are called). But it gets quite sad at certain parts, though it's still a mostly action anime..

Last Exile is really great visually and also it is a very interesting anime.

the characters are well defined and I think that there are a lot less cliches than you usually get in anime. So if you like action anime with good characterisations, mixed up technologies and stories about strategy and political intrigue then you will like Last Exile

LAst exile seems to have two writers spiult mid way, one concentrated on the vanship deliveries, and the other on the guild. The style changed mid way and took somne time for me to get used to. I preferred the beggining it was more unpredictable.
