Re: Who Wants a new Season?
I wouldn't mind a new season, but I would like R. Takahashi to try to use a new plot line.
Of course, she's been at it for over 20 years, and thus normally you don't mess with what works. But like the Star Trek Franchise learned, you have to change and evolve sometime (or else).
The evil guy always gets away. Each big battle is fruitless. Only Inu-Yasha's sword can solve the problem, and only when it uses its best new ability *can you say Voltron?* The relationships never develope past a certain point. Humans are cannon fodder. Etc, etc, etc.
Its more fun watching Sesshomaru then Inu-Yasha. At least he's allowed to change, and you are not 100% sure what he will do next.
Its like how I came to enjoy Ryoga more then Ranma, becan in Ranma 1/2. And from what I hear, R. Takahashi was enjoying him more too. At least his character was allowed to develope (relatively to the other chars in the story)
