Is Sesshomaru one day going to turn on rin?

It's hard to determine it. Sesshomaru's personnality is so hidden that we just can't predict what he will do. He might probably keep her until she dies and that's it...

I don't think he will... he may be mysterious, but he went to all the trouble to save her, and take her along with him, and whenever something happens to her - like when she was kidnapped by Naraku - he comes to rescue her, despite his pretext that he was already out to kill Naraku, so i don't think he'd turn on her.

Well since I made this, I should give an opinion.

From what we know about Sesshomaru, kiling isn't any big thing for him. He also is not a fan of humans. The fact of the matter is that if he wabted to, he could kill Rin in an instant. Yet he saves her, brings her with him, even got her new clothes. In the last episode, when Rin asks him to remember her when she's gone, he tells her not to be stupid. I think its meant in the sense that he's hardly going to forget about her. And of course there's ep162, where he has every opportuibity to be done with her, and comes to get her. I think that he cares about her, but he'll no more say so than buy Inuyasha a birthday present. I think he'll keep her with him as long as she'll stay, because he cares about her. Although I do pity her first boyfriend.....one wrong move and he'll be dust...or dog food...

I don't think Sesshomaru will turn on Rin. I think it's more likely that he'll leave Rin somewhere to be with other humans than kill her.

Firstly, Sesshomaru is too noble for such a betrayal. He wouldn't "turn on" someone, especially one of his servants.

Secondly, he's not one to needlessly slaughter humans. Granted, he has killed his fair share of humans, it was always because they opposed him in some way (i.e. they'd try to pick a fight with him or he'd tell them to move out of his way and they wouldn't).

Thirdly, I believe he does care about Rin, like a person cares for a puppy (I don't think his hatred of humans would ever allow him to care for Rin as anything that would put her on the same level as him, like a daughter or anything of that sort). Thus, when he can't take her with him anymore, he won't to kill her, but he'll give her to someone else to take care of and be done with it all.

Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea for an episode. Something happens and Sesshomaru goes wild, and Rin manages to bring him back and he realises that he's changed then goes off in ypical fashion, without bothering to sy goodbye, with Rin in tow

Im sure Sesshy won't ever turn on Rin. Besides, hes saved her plenty of times and she's saved his life. I just don't see how it would happen

Oooooooo, good question.

I do like the character developement of Sess becauce of Rin showing up.

And one of my absolute favorite scenes in Inu-Yasha is when Sesshomaru spots a danger, and tells Rin to Freeze. After a good portion of time goes by, Sess tells Rin 'you can move again' and she gleefully complies. That's _AfteR_ she remained motionless for so long, obeying to the letter what Sess said.

I love that type of loyalty/trust.

Will he turn on her?
Probably not directly....but if forced somehow socially....big question.
Perhaps not having any idea is better because we cannot predict what will happen, and thus read the story with more tension? (enjoyable tension, that is)
