Does the manga of Inuyasha goes farthar than the anime? Does the manga show more information?

Inuyasha started with manga, they have animated quite a lot of the manga, and the story is continuing in the manga where the anime left off...

InUyAsha has a brilliant manga which goes into more detail than the anime, you can read the recent chapters on http://ear-tweak.com
