Don't you just feel a little sorry for her? I mean she dies because of some crazy obsessive guy, then when she comes back her love interest is already makin it with some other girl? She's a little too vindictive (and one-dimensional) for me to say that I actually like her, but I do at least feel sorry for her.

i liked the character at first, but towards the end of the series it just got annoying

I too felt sad for her... dying so young and that too bearing a grudge... being betrayed too.

Hyu! I don't know why, but Kikyo is quite a mysterious person. You can't tell whether she wants to help or not.

I've only read up to vol26, so that's as far as I know. I get bored of it sometimes, so I haven't read the other (almost) 20 volumes that are scanlated so far. It's too bad to hear that her character doesn't really develop (in fact, gets worse?). Thanks for the info.

Oh, yeah, just to be clear, I really don't like Kikyou, I just feel sorry for her. So, feel free to slam the character all you like. I still think she's really one-dimensional, like basically the only reason she's there is to give the writer an excuse to keep InuYasha/Kagome apart.

I used to hte Kikyou's guts, but as the series went on, I began to like her, She is a pretty strong character and I feel sorry for her sometimes.
