Here is a tale of a poster from a GameFAQ message board. The topic was "Funny Things to Say in School" :

It was in math class and we were doing Pre-Algebra.

Teacher: Will!
Me:Yeah?
Teacher: If 10x=90, what does X equal?
Me:Ah, a fine question at that.(At this time I stood up and walked to the chalk board). But as I see in this mathbook, there is always an X as the unknown. Why can't it be a Y, or C, or how about a nice little Q. No, they're all Xs. That, my friends, is communism at work.(Right here the teacher went to his desk to get a gun I think.)Now class, to get back on track, what DOES X equal? It could equal lots of things. Maybe 4, or 28. I like 56 personally but that's beside the point. The point is, the government wants you to think there is only ONE solution to every problem. BUT THERE ISN"T I TELL YOU!
Teacher: WILL! WHAT DOES X EQUAL!?
Me:Oh, that? 9. Thank you.

I then sat down and calmly continued paying attention to the teacher.

On my report card later, on the teacher's comments part, he wrote "By the way, You got an A instead of an A- for your fight the power speach. Do it again and you fail."
Weither it be true or not, it was still pretty funny to me.

Yeah. That was a great topic. I have an old text file that has some of my favorite LUE posts that I thought were funny and had to keep. I might post some later. They mainly involve soccer moms and "In Soviet Russia..." stories/jokes. There are also a few Xbox ones in there >.> <.<

Our textbooks at school always have a variety of letters for algebra. usually X's and Y's or for question 3a) they'd use the letter a, for question 3b) they'd use the letter b and so on. However, these past few years have caused me do dislike maths quite a fair bit. 1st: there is too much repitition and we already know the stuff, 2nd: One of my friends went down a class, 3rd No body like the teacher anyway.
