You know, it wouldnt surprise me if Touya was able to beat Sai a few years later assuming Sai came back of course. Touya is able to improve his game everytime he plays while Sai has to rely on the games he played in the past. Yes he played tons of games in the past but he didn't really get to practice the new form of Go that Touya plays. Sai even said that the game of Go has changed since he last played it.
