What will happen to Shindou?

I've watched all the series. Theres still questions lurking in my mind. Maybe by your answers it might fill my doubts. I wondered would shindou ever surpass touya? What was the purpose to show Shindou the game between Touya meijin and SAi? Did the mystery of Sai in the internet ever reveiled? Who do u think will win between so-young and Shindou in the North Star Junior tournament between china korea and Japan within the series?

Yeah, the anime series isn't very clear...The mystery of Sai on the internet was not publicaly revealed but I think Touya knows about it. I don't know if Shindou will surpass Touya, but it is nice to know that Touya recognizes Shindou as his rival now. I think the manga goes past the anime, so if you read that, your questions might be answered...

I think he'll surpass touya, but I haven't read the manga yet. Non of the book stores have them.

i dunno about surpassing touya but hell definitely catch up soon enough, eventually hell start winning more games against touya, but i think they will b like growing together and b equals each 1 pulling the ohter up and beyond the others current level, so it will b like a race where 1 ends up ahead but then the other catchesd up and gains the lead for a while b4 losing it again

i guess one day shindou will surpass touya. he's played only for only 3 or 4 years and he's already a pro. wow. i guess he'll be a high ranking dan player!
