I did not even meet a pro while over in Japan. But I am curious about the rules of the game.
Does anyone happen to know an English site that explains the rules to Go? Or even that other game usually called Japanese Chess? its the one with the flat wooden pieces with kanji on them that are shapped like baseball's home plate.

I've meet several 3 dan and above pros playing internet go, I can't come close to beating them with my skills. I know a few go servers offering live pro lectures, KGS is one of them.

lol, you can play at yahoo games, you might even encountered some pros. I doubt there is a pro here too, since they have little time to spare, maybe try to find at other go forum.
