Login to download page problem

When I try to log in on any of the download pages I get the following error.

Error:
Login failed. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin.

I have 3 posts, but that shouldn't matter since the problem is during log in, not download. Is there possibly some wait time before my username and password work on the download servers?

the username and password you use to login to the dl pages is the same you use to login to the forums with

you should be able to log onto the dl pages as soon as you join the forums i believe

I know the username and password are the same, but the login just doesn't work, I just get the error message mentioned above.
