Re: MKV?AVI goes yellow!
Hello akira! its been a long time. First let me ask you this are you sure your graphics card is working fine? if it is and the problem isn't there. I suggest you uninstall CCCP and then instal k-lite mega codec pack. If it doesn't work use VLC to view these files.

Re: MKV?AVI goes yellow!
I don't think that'll work, he said it's yellow on all of his media players. So the problem should be in the media file itself, re-download the file if you can (I assume you can't because it must have taken a long time to download). Or, post a complaint at the site you downloaded from, other members could be facing a similar problem.

dats right, since it also true for my files outside of my pc; ie dvds, cds, etc. just no way those files got infected by virus; past my 125 mb firewall, and always upgraded mcafee antivirus, and the fact dat computer virus cant infect via air.
all started when i want to rewatch my last exile series, then its all yellowish like on the display screens. so i change the platform from winamp(avi generally) to matroska (mkv, duh). still yellowish like.
the thing is, they only effect ALL visual display files (ie when i want to watch something) not the music ones. music ones all good and dandy. and the sounds for those affected files also intact, just the displays. tried setting it to default, no luck, un-install reinstall the driver but still no go.
well, any insight?

Re: MKV? AVI goes yellow!
If you haven't already resolved the problem, did you consider the possibility of a codec problem? Have you tried using VLC player? you can get it at Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com
If it's a codec problem, you can go search for codecs like Cole2K or an updated Windows Essentials (something something) for WMP...
Here's a site with loads of video codec for download:
ETPlanet.com - Download Section - Files
Hope this helps...Sorry if this came too late or wasn't helpful...
Good luck!
BTW, Cole2K Media Codec and that WMP Essentials thing allows you to play MKV, in case I forgot to mention
