Default [Tutorial] Render Blending

This tutorial will teach you how to blend a render (added image) in your graphic, so it looks good.

What is a render? A render is part of a image that you may add to your graphic. renders MUST have a SOLID background (one color), so they work fine.
Where can i get good renders? www.gamerenders.com

1) Open the background that you want to add the render.

2) Open the render, take the magic wand, press the background so it selects the render. and press Cntrl + C. when you pressed the bg with magic wand didnt work, press Select Inverse or start playing with the buttons so it works fine.

3) Back in the background. Press cntrl + v to paste the render, and then press cntrl + T, to select the position of the render, and the size.

4) Right click on the layer containing your render, and press Blending Options. Change default blend option to 'Hard Light'.

5) Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue and Saturation. set saturation to -100. then do Layer > Merge Down, so it combines the hue and saturation with the render.

6) Take the Lasso Tool, and set it in 20px feather. Go around your render with it roughly, and do Select > Inverse. Press delete button on your keyboard.

7) Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance. Mess around with the colors, remember to also change options in Midtones, Highlights, and Shadows, until you get the color you want.

8) Add text and put the text layer below the Color Balance layer, so it matches with the graphic.

9) if you dont have a border, add one. if you don't know how to make them, read thread [Tutorial] 2 Different Simple Borders

10) save it!

A little preview on how the blended render should look like:

Yea i know i don't have previews in this tutorial, but the final products. i'll add some previews later, and maybe making a the whole tutorial again, so you can understand it a little better.

good luck!
