My tips

here are my graphic tips. btw, i use photshop.

- use brushes for your background.
- add some cool effects to the graphic
- don't use more than 1 renders, unless you really want 2 or more.
- use cool fonts, don't use Arial or things like that.
- Always have a border. if you don't know how to make them, read this thread.

Actually if your design is good, it doesn't really matter what kind of font you use. A good designer can use any kind of font....even something basic like Arial.

actually, i made this thread when i was rather a noob. now that i know much much more since i wrote those. so forget about the brushing for backgrounds and the fonts one.... you can do many types of great backgrounds, even with gradients.

and the font actually depends on the type of gfx it is...

My tip would be to get the hang of vectors ... once u got that cracked nothing will stop u
