My 1st render

I would take it that this is FAR from perfection but it's worth showing:



Basically took a screen shot of my media player and played with it in photoshop after cropping it

I paused an apisode of FLCL and then print screened the scene onto photoshop... from there I cut it out, and then added some shading to it

How about showing the original image for comparison? I am guessing you have made a 2D image appear 3D?

My last post pretty much covers what I did... I had downloaded an episode at an earlier time and then took a screenshot of a frame in the animation... then added a 3-d effect to it, more or less as you suspected

I guess I would have to download the episode to see the before image then? It's still a good beginning though, the torso and the legs look pretty good, not sure what can be done with the face, if the guitar had been rendered, I think there would be an illusion of depth to the image. A layman's critique.
